Welcome. There are lots of “Dear Abby” columns to get opinions from women. And lots of “Maxim” columns to get opinions from douchy men. Not many places to get a practical guy's perspective on life events. So ask the guys.

me and my boyfriend have been datind about a year now. Except he is in medical school and we hardly get to see one another except for part of the summer and holidays. I love him and I tell him all the time. One time he said he wanted to make love to me. Does this mean he love mean or what?

You tell your boyfriend you love him. Does he tell you that he loves you? If so, he probably does. Most guys wouldn't stay in a long-distance relationship for a year if there is no love. If the only time he tells you he loves you is when he wants to "make love" to you, I would be extremely cautious. Although making love can be an extremely emotional experience, he should be able to express those feelings to you outside of the bedroom.
